Meet the 2023 Competition Jury
Violinist, performer, and educator Glenn Dicterow served as concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic for 34 years, and since 2013 holds the Robert Mann Chair in Strings and Chamber Music at the USC Thornton School of Music.
Violist, performer and educator Karen Dreyfus teaches at the Manhattan School of Music as well as on the Orchestra Performance Program and is on faculty of the USC Thornton School of Music.
Cellist Zlatomir Fung, 2014 Klein 1st Prize winner, and recipient of the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship 2022, and 2020 Avery Fisher Career Grant, is the first American in 40 years and youngest musician to win the International Tchaikovsky Competition Cello Division 1st Prize.
