COMPETITION TIMELINE
February 15, 2012
- Application deadline. All online entries must be submitted by 11:59pm (PST) on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. All CD’s must be postmarked by this deadline.
March 30, 2012
- Semifinalists notified by email. Semifinalists must confirm their acceptance of the invitation by return email by April 3, 2012. Semifinalists will receive copies of the 2012 Commissioned Work, composed by Richard Festinger, upon confirmation of their participation.
- All applicants not selected as Semifinalists will also receive notification.
April 3, 2012
- Semifinalists must confirm their participation in the 2012 Competition.
April 27, 2012
- Semifinalist deadline for submitting proposed program repertoire and required scores.
June 6 & 7, 2012
- Semifinalists arrive in San Francisco.
June 7, 2012
- Afternoon or evening rehearsal with accompanist for 45 minutes.
June 8, 2012, 10:00am – 2:30pm
- Dress rehearsal for Semifinal program.
June 9, 2012, 10:00am – 12:30pm and 2:00pm – 4:30pm
- Semifinals performances, followed immediately by announcement of Finalists to perform on Sunday afternoon.
June 10, 2012
- Rehearsals for Finalists with accompanists TBA during the day.
- 4:00pm – 7:00pm: Finals performances.
